Open Music mode and you land on rows of tracks: what is trending, what was added recently, and genre rows for browsing by sound. Trending reflects what listeners on the platform are actually playing, so you see current activity and not a static editorial list.

If you know what you want, the search box looks across tracks and artists. Type a song, an artist or a genre and results update as you go.

Artist pages

Every artist has a page with their profile and tracks. It is the quickest way to hear everything one artist has published, and it gives independent artists a link they can put in a bio or message. If you find a track you like, click through to the artist and keep listening.

A player that stays with you

Playback continues in a mini player while you move around the app, so you can browse shows or switch rows without stopping the music. You can return to Music mode at any time from the navigation.

Your library: likes, playlists and history

Tap the heart on a track to save it to Liked Tracks. Create playlists, name them, and drop tracks in or take them out. Your plays are logged to a history so you can find what you listened to last week. All of this is tied to your account and is available when you sign in again.

The shows side of DIGITVL has its own My List and history pages, and watch progress is tracked so you can pick up where you left off.

Getting started

Create a free account with your email, verify it, and open Music mode from the navigation. If you make music yourself, read how artists publish on DIGITVL. If you just want to build playlists, start with a handful of likes and group them when you have a theme.

DIGITVL works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Because it is a web app there is nothing to install.
